Currently, UPC offers the following internal scholarships:

UPC HONORS SCHOLARSHIP

SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED ACCORDING TO YOUR ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be enrolled in a minimum of 15 credits. In addition, students must have the minimum weighted average required by their program.
  • Not having any academic sanction upon receiving the scholarship.
  • Encontrarse dentro del Tercio Superior de su respectiva Carrera.
  • No contar con ninguna sanción académica al momento de otorgarle la beca.

UPC-LAUREATE SCHOLARSHIP

UPC AWARDS THIS SCHOLARSHIP IN RECOGNITION OF THE OUTSTANDING ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF THE BEST STUDENT IN EACH PROGRAM.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

The students who meet the following requirements are awarded the scholarship:

  • The highest weighted average, taking into account the simple average of the weighted average in the last two academic terms
  • Must have a minimum of 60 credits earned
  • No pending debt upon receiving the scholarship
  • No academic sanction during the evaluation

WHO APPLIES

All students of all programs, except for Medicine and Music, may participate.

BENEFIT

The university will assume the complete cost of an academic term in any of the Laureate Network universities offering the program.

SOCIOECONOMIC RECLASSIFICATION

THIS RECATEGORIZATION PLACES THE STUDENT IN A NEW PAYMENT SCALE AS A RESULT OF THE SOCIOECONOMIC ASSESSMENT AND IT WILL BE VALID UNTIL THE END OF THE PROGRAM.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENT

Students must have a passing weighted average in the regular academic term immediately preceding the term in which they apply for the benefit.

WHO APPLIES

All students, except those in the bottom payment scales.

BENEFIT

A new scale is assigned according to the socioeconomic assessment.

SOCIOECONOMIC SCHOLARSHIP

STUDENTS ARE AWARDED A SCHOLARSHIP PERCENTAGE FOR ONE OR TWO TERMS, ATTENDING TO THEIR ECONOMIC NECESSITIES AND ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE (MUST REMAIN IN THE UPPER THIRD OF THE PROGRAM TO RENEW THE BENEFIT).

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be a student for more than one year and belong of the upper third of their program in the previous academic term.
  • For incoming students in the last payment scale: Their admission must not have been through a method that awards them any economic benefit (Preferred Selection, for example).

RECLASSIFICATION BASED ON SIBLING OR PARENT

THE BENEFIT CONSISTS IN ASSIGNING THE NEW STUDENT STARTING THE UNIVERSITY, NOT THE OLDER STUDENT, A LOWER SCALE, AS LONG AS THE CONDITIONS ESTABLISHED IN THE REGULATIONS ARE MET.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Both must be enrolled in the term simultaneously.
  • The older student must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits.
  • New students obtain a lower payment scale if they meet the conditions established in the regulations.
  • If the sibling or parent drops out or does not study in the current term, the student loses the reclassification based on sibling students.
  • If the sibling or parent is discharged, the benefit is lost.

BENEFIT

Students obtain a (1) lower scale.

SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP: HIGH PERFORMANCE

FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE ATHLETES IN THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES: MEN'S SOCCER, MEN'S BASKETBALL, MEN AND WOMEN'S SWIMMING

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

Must belong to UPC's team, attend all training sessions and have a weighted average above 14.

WHO APPLIES

All students

BENEFITS:

  • 30% discount on credits enrolled.
  • You may enroll in fewer than 15 credits.
  • Preferential enrollment.
  • Comprehensive approach (psychologist, physiotherapist, sports nutritionist).
  • All athletes have an additional 25% absence possibilities, which helps them to justify their non-attendance. Evaluations may be rescheduled as long as they are competing on behalf of UPC.
  • You have an academic adviser who guides you in your academic development.

SPORTS SCHOLARSHIP: NATIONAL ATHLETES

FOR QUALIFIED ATHLETES (NATIONAL ATHLETES).

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

Must submit a letter from their federation recognizing you are currently a national athlete. Must also have a minimum weighted average of 14.

WHO APPLIES

Applicants who meet the following requirements:

  1. Being a national athlete.
  2. Must have belonged, during the 5th year or last years of secondary school, to your school's team and have been first place in ADCA, Adecopa, Adecore or DNRPD competitions.

BENEFITS:

  • 30% discount on credits enrolled.
  • You may enroll in fewer than 15 credits.
  • Preferential enrollment.
  • All athletes have an additional 25% only for the competitions representing Peru. All non-attendance may be justified and evaluations rescheduled, as long as they are competing on behalf of Peru.
  • You have an academic adviser who guides you in your academic development.
