Cultural Activities Passport

Cultural Activities Passport

WHAT IS THE CULTURAL ACTIVITIES PASSPORT?

The Cultural Activities Passport is an extracurricular accreditation method with which you can accumulate points from every cultural event you attend.

UPC joins several cultural entities to get you closer to exhibitions and musical, theater and dancing performances. This way, you will have the chance to know a bit more about other cultures as well as our own.

HOW DO YOU USE THE PASSPORT?

You must check the schedule of events at the different cultural entities where you can earn points.

You must show your Passport and Student ID Card (TIU) at the cultural venue's ticket booth or entrance. Additionally, you will have to fill out the activity form (title and date) and ask to have your passport sealed with the University Life stamp. To prove your attendance, you must ask for the stamp on the day of the event and at the venue where it takes place.

It is important to consider that the score will depend on the type of activity you attended. The guide to earn points is the following:

  • Short film: 1 point
  • Exhibition: 1 point
  • Musical, theatrical or audiovisual presentation: 2 points
  • Sample class or workshop: 2 points
  • Guided visit: 2 points
  • Talk or conference: 2 points

Only points obtained through cultural activities attended from week 4 to 13 will be valid.

HOW CAN YOU REQUEST YOUR PASSPORT?

Registration for this accreditation method is open during the first two weeks of classes. You must look out for the information sent to your UPC e-mail account, since a confirmation e-mail will be sent there. As of the fourth academic week, you will be able to get your Passport at the Student Information Center of your corresponding site.

ONCE YOU HAVE SIGNED UP, WHAT REQUIREMENTS DO YOU NEED TO MEET?

When you pick up your Passport at the Student Information Center, you will be asked for a passport-sized photo and a Letter of Commitment, in which you accept the policies and procedures for the Cultural Activities Passport.

REMEMBER...

  • It is important that you do not lose the Passport since it proves your attendance to events. It is essential that the information given is legible, so as to complete the corresponding validation.

The Cultural Activities Passport is a free document given to undergraduate students. Its purpose is to register your attendance to cultural events. If the activity requires a payment, the Passport does not provide any discounts on the price of the cultural center.

With the Cultural Activities Passport, you accept the policies and procedures for its use. The University Life Department reserves the right to cancel its validation in case of inappropriate use.
